Event Project Support Officer

Role Summary

This role supports the planning and delivery of a major national event in 2027. You’ll handle project coordination, secretariat duties, procurement support, logistics, and vendor management. Working closely with the Event Lead and various partners, you’ll help keep timelines on track, ensure smooth communication, and support both pre-event planning and on-site operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare briefing decks, tracking sheets, checklists, and project timelines.

  • Maintain and update the overall project schedule to ensure milestones stay on track.

  • Coordinate weekly meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.

  • Track action items and follow up with stakeholders for timely closure.

  • Provide full secretariat and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist with procurement processes (including tenders) such as drafting tender documents, gathering quotations, and supporting required submissions.

Requirements

 

  • Minimum Diploma qualification.

  • Fields such as Event Management, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or related disciplines are preferred.

  • Experience in event planning, project coordination, secretariat roles, procurement, and operations.

  • Background in marketing or project management is an added bonus.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development and implementation of new polymeric marking solutions, including formulation and application of markers/codes in various polymer materials, compatible and integrable to client’s process & specifications – that is scalable & cost efficient.

This project is about the digital transformation of the systems through the use of modern digital solutions, cloud technology, data analytics and AI.
