Responsibilities

R&D Engineer (METAL)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Metal Application Engineer/Researcher to lead R&D and pilot projects focused on metals and industrial applications. Responsibilities:

Position Overview

The SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for managing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the SAP environment. The role ensures system stability, security, and performance while supporting business needs.

Job Description

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SCM, etc.).
  • Apply support packages, enhancement packs, kernel upgrades, and patches
  • Create and manage SAP user roles, authorizations, and security policies.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and security standards.
  • Performance Monitoring & Tuning, Optimize system resources and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks
  • Manage SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or other databases.
  • Perform backups, restores, and database tuning
  • Maintain SAP systems integration with third-party applications (SAP PI/PO, BTP, Fiori, Web Dispatcher, etc.)
  • Assist with SAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, or S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture and system landscapes.
  • Hands-on experience with OS administration (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
  • Knowledge of database administration (SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Transport Management System (TMS), and CTS+.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Support experience in a cloud-based SAP implementations (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
  • Experience in AWS or any other Cloud technologies and Certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in GCC 2.0 if any.

Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration/SAP HANA Certified Administrator is a plus.
