This role supports the planning and delivery of a major national event in 2027. You’ll handle project coordination, secretariat duties, procurement support, logistics, and vendor management. Working closely with the Event Lead and various partners, you’ll help keep timelines on track, ensure smooth communication, and support both pre-event planning and on-site operations. Prepare briefing decks, tracking sheets, checklists, and project timelines.
Maintain and update the overall project schedule to ensure milestones stay on track.
Coordinate weekly meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
Track action items and follow up with stakeholders for timely closure.
Provide full secretariat and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with procurement processes (including tenders) such as drafting tender documents, gathering quotations, and supporting required submissions.
Assist in event planning, programme scheduling, and meeting arrangements.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners (exhibitors, agencies, companies, speakers).
Support participant communication and registration matters.
Coordinate and track vendor requirements (AV, staging, signage, catering, photography/videography, etc.).
Support exhibition/booth layouts, equipment tracking, and on-site setup activities.
Assist with rehearsals, live operations, and post-event coordination.
Act as a point-of-contact during event days.
Assist with registration counters, visitor flow, and wayfinding.
Help troubleshoot operational issues on-site.
Minimum Diploma qualification.
Fields such as Event Management, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or related disciplines are preferred.
Experience in event planning, project coordination, secretariat roles, procurement, and operations.
Background in marketing or project management is an added bonus.
Highly organised and able to multitask well.
Proactive, independent, and reliable.

Job Summary
This role encompasses managing laboratory operations, developing new polymer solutions compatible & integrable with client’s process, conducting tests and trials, implementing technology solutions for client projects. As the Plastic R&D Engineer, you must be able to process, design and optimize solutions for an efficient and cost-effective production of polymers. As well as conduct tests and analyze data to ensure the quality and performance of polymer materials.
Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of new polymeric marking solutions, including formulation and application of markers/codes in various polymer materials, compatible and integrable to client’s process & specifications – that is scalable & cost efficient.
Conduct and oversee R&D experiments and trials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Analyze test results and provide detailed technical reports to the Head of Technology & Commercialization.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes that showcase the technology's application.
Manage day-to-day lab operations, including equipment maintenance, procurement of materials/chemicals, and inventory management.
Ensure the lab is configured and structured to meet project needs and safety standards.
Work on design & development of cost-efficient polymeric material & solutions for integration to the client process in compliance with client requirements.
Coordinate testing schedules and oversee the execution of tests and pilots both internally and with external testing facilities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all testing activities, results, and processes for internal reviews and external presentations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Strong understanding of polymer characteristics, plastic industrial processes & methods, and application techniques.
Hands-on experience in managing R&D experiments and pilot projects.

This project is about the digital transformation of the systems through the use of modern digital solutions, cloud technology, data analytics and AI. Work closely as part of the agile product team to design, develop, test and deploy data analytics products (e.g. interactive dashboards, reports and machine learning models) under the guidance of the Product Manager.
